Jim Reeves is a licensed Private Investigator with 42 years of prior law enforcement experience. He retired in 2016 and in 2019 began investigating in the private sector. His experience includes patrol, criminal investigation, jail operations and administration. Jim is proficient in Internet search techniques. He brings his experience and expertise in forensic science and processing of physical evidence at major crime scenes to Reeves Consulting to serve you – whatever your investigative needs might be.

- Recognized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, DEA, U.S. Marshal Service, U.S. Attorney's Office - Lubbock and U.S. Attorney's Office - Fort Worth for assistance provided in numerous investigations.
- Recognized by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Office of the Inspector General for assistance rendered in recapturing three escapees from the Walker Sayle Unit.
- Served five consecutive terms as Chairman of the West Central Texas Council of Governments Criminal Justice Committee.
